Extra Life x Magic The Gathering
Magic: The Gathering is teaming up with Extra Life to raise funds for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia,through a number of initiatives including a whimsical Secret Lair drop called ‘Squishful Thinking’, featuring Play-Doh-sculpted versions of popular cards, with 50% of proceeds going to Extra Life. Along with MTG Arena themed bundles, online retailer Ultra-Pro will release exclusive shirts and playmats followed by a charity livestream on November 8.

Mental health charity Safe In Our World is hosting two free online awareness sessions for community managers in the games industry aimed at helping them navigate the emotional demands of their community facing roles. Scheduled for October 9 and November 16, the sessions will cover topics like managing online toxicity, supporting vulnerable players, and more.

To celebrate Undertale’s 10th anniversary, fans of the game raised (as of writing) over $360,000 for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia during a special event organised by Fangamer and the game’s creator, Toby Fox.

Neverland: A Peter Pan Adventure supports GOSH
Second Star Games, a new Manchester-based studio led by former TT Games managing director Tom Stone, will launch its debut title, Neverland: A Peter Pan Adventure, under a long-term exclusive license from Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) which will include a donation from every game sold to fund care for seriously ill children to the charity.
